About Us

Who We Are

Center for Sustainable Development of Society (CSDS) is an independent, non-profit, non-Governmental organization. CSDS was formally registered under the Societies Voluntarily Social Welfare Agencies Registration & Act 1961 and also registered in Sindh Charities Registration and Regulation Commission and is national organization with head office in Kamber Shahdadkot District Sindh. CSDS was appeared with the collective efforts of group of young and responsible people for addressing the needs of marginalized and powerless communities of District Kamber Shahdadkot after the flood of 2010. The floods of 2010 brought high level loss to the crops, livestock, homes and food of poor people of district Kamber Shahdadkot. The members of CSDS team supported them by arranging camps of food and non food items in different cities of Sindh Province for the support of flood victims.

The group of young development professionals were of the view to work together on one plate form and they came to gather with mutual understanding that there is urgent need of an organization which should work for the sustainable development of the people District Kamber Shahdadkot. They therefore, registered CSDS in 2011.

Deputy Commissioner, Kamber-Shahdadkot

Mr. Sajjad Hyder Qadri has presented the award of excellence an appreciation shield to CEO to CSDS Babar Memon in recognition of social services and moonsoon trees plantation drives. The event was scheduled by District forest Officer KSK Mr.Imran Ali Dhamarah Shb in the DC office KSK.

Integrated immunization approach for reaching children in flood affected areas of Sindh.

In the youth dialogue event almost 48 youth participant's attended the youth dialogue session and the (youngsters) shared their demands recommendations and suggestion on below points charter of demands.

CSDS with support of Fafen- TDEA arranged a "Youth Dialogue Convention Budget 2024-2025" in shah Abdul Latif University Campus Shahdadkot.

Planning development department (GeMs-firm ) conducted Consultative Workshop for Environmental and Social Assessments under Sindh Transformational Accelerated Rural Services Wash project by Government of sindh. In the event CSDS and others participated and shared the environmental issue and global warming and their effects.
